so.. in this semester, i took "crearive writing" \lesson. this lesson is so fun. i really like it because in this lesson i learn about how to make poem, short story, poetry and many more. and right now my lecture command us to make some fansficntion. i was so confused about choosing the story. so i end up with this short movie video "shelter" from porter robinson and madeon. i've choosed this because this story is so amazing. And for the maffage i got that "no matter what happened, people die or people leave. and you can have these memories, and they can either make you really sad or you can use them for strength to keep moving forward"
for the story, i see
the whole movement, this whole moment that i think RIn. but here i changed Rin names became izumi. remembering it. But
then at the end i kinda get a little twist, where its like “oh maybe shes just
in stasis, in the midle of nowhere, and this is her mind thinking what’s
happening” but it’s not real, shes all alone.

Long time ago, when our pale blue dot no longer save. when the big celestial
body crushed our pale blue dot, The dot that we lived. On it.. everyone we
loved, everyone we know, everyone we ever heard of, every human being whoever
was, they where live there in the pale blue dot. Every joy and suffering,
thousand of ideology and prespective, every hero and loser, every creator and
destroyed, every king and their people, every young couples who in love, every
mother and father and their hopefull children..
Izumi is 17 years old girl who lives her life inside a future simulation, She
is compeletely by herself in infinite beauty loneliness. Each day Izumi awakens
in virtual reality and uses a tablet which controls the simulation to create a
new, different, beautiful world for herself.
Morning comes.. she always start her day by asking herself “what will i became from now on?” she know
that yesterday, today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow.. and everyday goes
wothout many changes. She knew that this world belongs only to her, She has
this world all to herself. “ but, i’m not lonely” she said “it doesn’t bother
me at all” she made it clear. She wake up from the bed and grab her tablet, she
sigh with a long breath and sad eyes, she know that she has not receive any
massage for 2539 days. But still... it doesn’t bother her at all.
She change her room design into a wide yard where the palace can be build,
a big rock that has a waterfall on it, and trees that make the air fresh. She
created her world with four different seasons in every area, she made a lake
whichis frozen so she can look a green beautiful aurora in the sky, she can
change easily what season she like. She run happily enjoyed her own creation,
she laydown on the yard lookin at a beautiful blue sky, she make a wings to
fly, she is so proud and free winging swiftly through the sky. From up there
she can look the whole things she create, but there is a tree with a swing that
she didn’t remember she ever made it. She come near the swing and touch it. A
guy appearing into her mind, she got hearthache.. and whispered “who is he?”
Time pass away, Izumi start remebering events that occured in a time before
being in the simulation when the world was about to be destroyed, she remember that
the guy is her brother. She still make her own world with that depression
thinking, right now she is creating a tree with a red marsmellow, she created a
sad situation by wearing old black dress. She cant held her feelin anymore she
still didnt get any massage in 2578 days.
until one day, everything changes.... izumi comes to learn the true origins behind
her life in a simulation. Her tablet created a building by it self, it suddenly
appear without izumi’s comand. Set in the traditional japanese house she realize
that her body turn into a yellow ilutional body, then she saw a litle girl run
carrying a school bag. Izumi fall into a deep memories, now she look that litle
girl playing sand with the guy she saw
firts time, her brother. She fall again into another deep memories, she saw
that little girl was reading a book before sleep with her brother, she saw a
family picture consist of her brother, a mother, a father and that litle girl. She
saw that her brother comb the litle girl’s hair, her brother give the litle
girl a doll that as same as she had. Izumi saw that her brother build some sort
of spaceship-type, he also add a memories and stuff into the apparatus device
and then he puts that litle girl’s body in the spaceship.
finnaly she realize that the litle girl was her in the real world. She
waste her tears on fears and cry. She want to reach his brother’s hand, but she
can’t. It’s painfull feeling, she is seeing that her brother kiss her in the
head and saying good bye. izumi is sending to the space by that spaceship.
The tablet memories’s over, She stopped in the midle of nowhere, look like
inside a dark box where the light from the tablet the only thing that shine.
she grab the tablet and hug it. for the first time in 2579 days without any
massage, she got a massage. she click it and all the memories she had in the
past appeared, a dm pop out “Kamiki
seeing that the end of the worlds is happening and so to protect his sister,
izumi satoh. he build some sort of spaceship-type, he also add a memories and
stuff into apparatus device and then he puts his sister’s body in the
spaceship.” She cry so hard, she want to meet her brother. But she realize that
she can’t meet him. The only thing that her brother left for her is memories.
Only she can choose either make her really sad or she can use them for
strength. In the crying she decide “i
might have some tough times. even if those memories makes me sad, i’ve got to
go forward believing in the future. Even when i’m realize my loneliness and i’m
about to lose all my hope, those memories will give me strength to carry on. It’s
makes me stronger. I’m not alone.. because of you.. Arigatou..”.
In the end.... Izumi knew she is not alone, she believe that her brother
will be watching over her whenever and wherever she is.
